Great news for bingo fanatics everywhere - Chancellor Alastair Darling has announced in December's Pre-Budget Report that bingo tax will be cut from 22% to 20%!

A 2% cut may not seem like much, but it's a great victory for those of us who were put out - to say the least! - by the rise from 15% to 22% in April 2009's Budget.

With bingo tax now at 20%, it's definitely a step in the right direction for all us bingo nuts who just can't get enough of the game.

So, now's the time to get playing!
