Castle Bingo Review

Castle Bingo does the established bingo club network proud. While it only offers 90 ball bingo in 2 rooms, the amazingly chatty community and good selection of instant games more than makes up for the lack of variety.

Castle Bingo have a relatively short sign up process that lets you get started playing almost straight away. Just the usual details such as your name and email address are required. They let you check the availability of your chosen alias half way down the sign up form which is handy for making sure your name is original. Once you've registered you'll then need to register your banking details before you can start playing.

Design

The Castle Bingo site carries the blue and yellow theme that's so recognisable in their clubs so will make those who are used to playing offline feel right at home. To those who aren't Club players the colour scheme could seem a little garish but that's something that's just down to preference.

A St Minver powered site, Castle Bingo is easy to navigate around and while it's not the prettiest bingo site out there it's not bad looking at it certainly does its job. Just like the clubs this site is designed to appeal to a male and female audience and both the design and the colour scheme do that successfully.

Usability

The Castle Bingo website is very easy to use as it follows the standard St Minver format so closely. Users of other St Minver powered sites will find this a doddle to use as it'll feel so familiar. However, even novice players shouldn't have too much of a problem figuring out how to play simply because everything is set out in such an intuitive manner.

Games

Castle Bingo run 2 games rooms, the Bingo Lounge and the Bingo Cafe. Both 90 ball rooms they keep things simple by fixing the ticket prices in each of the rooms at 10p and 25p respectively. This does help to take any possible confusion out of playing and means that you know what you're going to get and what you're going to be paying per ticket whenever you play. On the down side this approach does take away a little variety although they do have lots of instant games to stop things from ever becoming dull.

Jackpots

There are 2 progressive jackpots up for grabs on Castle Bingo, the Giant and the Snowball. The former is a 37 coverall and so quickly builds up to life changing amounts. The Snowball has to be won in 50 calls or less so while it doesn't often climb to 'Giant' heights it gives you the chance to win a respectable amount. These are of course on top of the regular jackpots up for grabs in the games rooms. Castle Bingo also run daily promotions with everything from penny bingo to guaranteed prize games on the go.

Chat

Castle Bingo is a really sociable site and seems to have a really close knit community. While the chat is very much focused on bingo during the games as soon as one finishes conversation explodes and everyone is laughing and joking and taking part in about 5 conversations at once. The CMs really get involved too and are great at making newcomers feel welcome.

Support

You can contact the Castle Bingo customer services team by phone or email 24/7 although they don't currently have a 'live help' service to answer your questions immediately when you're online. To give them credit Castle Bingo's CMs are usually able to help out so you don't miss this convenient feature too much.

Security

Castle Bingo use the latest, rigorously tested encryption technology to protect any personal information or transaction data the site holds. They won't share your details with any third parties and will only contact you via email if you have subscribed to their newsletter.
