While the William Hill sign up appears a little more 'official' than most other bingo sites as you're asked to 'open a betting account' rather than simply 'sign up' it's actually much the same as all the others; you simply need to enter your name, date of birth, address, password and security question and you're done.

During the sign up process you are offered the chance to pre-set your maximum deposit limit which can be a good move if you tend to overspend or are trying to stick to a budget.

However, once you are a member, depositing is very straight forward and William Hill accept a whole range of payment options from credit cards to Paypal as well as their rather innovative 'Quick Cash' payment method that lets you deposit cash and withdraw your online bingo winnings in person through your local William Hill shop.

Design

The bingo site itself is actually a branch of the regular William Hill betting site although it very definitely has its own, more feminine focused identity. As you would expect from the betting giant, William Hill bingo is a very attractive, professional looking site centred on clean lines and a tasteful blue and purple colour scheme. To extend this minimalist approach all the information you need to get started is presented very clearly and concisely and once you've become a member there are few distractions from getting started with the bingo itself.

The bingo lobby is very neatly laid out with information about both the current and future games in each of their games rooms being easily accessible. Current jackpots, ticket prices and countdowns until the next game are also displayed to make deciding where to play in that big easier.

The colour scheme of the lobby isn't so appealing as the main site (think pink and pale mustard!) but the games rooms where you'll be spending most of your time are made a lot easier on the eye with their own 'William Hill blue' and white colour scheme. What's more, to make life even easier the games rooms are clearly laid out and incredibly easy to navigate around and use.

Usability

William Hill is a really simple to use site and nothing feels like hard work. It's the little things like being able to completely customise the bingo rooms to your liking, the straight forward deposit and withdrawal process and the fact that the bingo rooms automatically rearranging themselves so that you can keep simultaneously keep an eye on chat and your tickets while you're playing an instant games that makes playing with Wink Bingo a real pleasure.

Games

William Hill run both 75 and 90 ball bingo in their 5 games rooms so there is lots of variety on offer in terms of ticket prices, games and chat. To keep you entertained they also run a speed bingo room as well as a good selection of high quality instant games.

Jackpots

The jackpots offered by William Hill certainly live up to what you'd expect from the big brand. Each bingo game starts with a fixed minimum jackpot (and these themselves tend to make for a fairly generous starting point) which grows with the number of players who purchase tickets. This means that especially at busier times they make playing very much worth your while indeed.

Progressive jackpots are continuously rolling in both the 75 and 90 ball rooms and they have a £2.5K coverall up for grabs at any time too.

Chat

While the William Hill bingo rooms are always busting with people they don't quite have such a strong community feel as many other bingo sites and because of this the focus of the chat does tend to stay on topic. However, it does mean that you'll always have someone to talk to and you do end up meeting a wider spread of players on the site too.

The CM's are very supportive and are always quick to congratulate you on a win although they can seem rather more keen on pushing their latest offers and deals than engaging players in conversation.

Support

For such a huge brand the bingo support provided by William Hill isn't quite as good as you would expect. They have 2 reasonably comprehensive 'help' sections, one accessible from the main site mainly dealing with queries about signing up and depositing and the other available via the bingo rooms themselves. However, the only way to contact their customer services is via the email form and while they do get back to you pretty quickly it doesn't quite match up to the more personal service other sites offer with their live chat and telephone based services.

Security
